The full PlateHelix tour
One assistant that holds your household's biology, preferences, and pantry — and turns it all into dinner.
PlateHelix is built for real homes: partners with different goals, kids with allergies, parents on medications, anyone you cook for. Add each person once, optionally connect their DNA and labs, and every recipe the assistant suggests is shaped around the people actually eating it.
Four pillars that make PlateHelix different
Generic meal planners give you recipes. PlateHelix gives you recipes that fit the specific humans at your table.
Built for the whole household
Most apps assume one user. PlateHelix lets you add every person you cook for — partner, kids, parents, roommates — each with their own profile, privacy mode, and biology.
Grounded in your real biology
Upload labs and DNA reports once. PlateHelix translates them into gentle, evidence-aware nudges on the plate — never as medical advice, always with sources and confidence.
Plans, recipes, and grocery — connected
Pantry, recipes, weekly plan, and shopping list all stay in sync. Cook once and customize plates per person without juggling spreadsheets.
Privacy-first by default
Sensitive health data is encrypted, scoped per member, and never sold or used for ads. Adults control what's shared with the household.
How it works
From a blank kitchen to a tailored dinner in four steps
Add household members
Each person gets a profile with goals, allergies, dietary preferences, dislikes, and an optional avatar. Adults can choose private mode so only they see their data.
Upload DNA & lab reports (optional)
Drop in methylation/genetic nutrition PDFs and blood-panel results. PlateHelix extracts diet-relevant findings and shows you exactly what it picked up — with sources, confidence, and the freedom to override.
Tell the assistant what you want
“Quick weeknight dinner for the four of us” or “Sunday batch cook, freezer-friendly.” Pick who's eating. PlateHelix considers every selected member's profile, rules, DNA, and labs simultaneously.
Get a tailored recipe & save it
You receive a full recipe — ingredients, steps, per-member fit notes, allergen warnings, and a generated hero image. Save the ones you love to your recipe library and reuse forever.

A wellness assistant that knows its lane
PlateHelix is intentionally conservative with health data. Here's the rulebook the assistant follows every single time it suggests a meal.
Confirmed allergies & clinician diagnoses always win
The hard-rule hierarchy puts confirmed allergies, clinician diagnoses, and explicit user rules above any DNA or AI inference. A SNP can refine guidance — it never bans a food on its own.
MTHFR guardrail (and the same logic for every SNP)
PlateHelix is not an MTHFR absolutist. A single variant nudges suggestions toward folate-rich whole foods — it does not declare hard food bans, megadoses, or fear-based restrictions.
Sources, confidence, and the right to override
Every health-derived suggestion shows where it came from and how confident the system is. You can override anything — your kitchen, your call.
Not medical advice — by design
PlateHelix is for educational wellness and meal-planning support only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified clinician before making major health, diet, supplement, or medication changes.
