We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your data is only processed to provide the analysis and meal planning you request, using the configured AI providers and services required to deliver the product.
What we collect
Account information you provide, household and member profiles, food preferences, allergies, optional uploaded documents (lab reports, methylation/genetic reports), pantry inventory, recipes you save or generate, and chat messages with the assistant.
How we use it
To run analysis you request, generate recipes and shopping suggestions, and improve your household's experience inside PlateHelix. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
AI processing
Generating analysis and recipes requires sending the relevant context to our configured AI providers. We send only what is needed for each request and we do not share your data with anyone outside of providing the product.
Consent
Health-related uploads require an explicit, versioned consent record per member. Adults manage their own consent. Guardians may consent for dependents they manage.
Privacy modes
Adult household members may keep their detailed health data private from the household owner. The compatibility engine still uses their ingredient rules to plan safe household meals without exposing the underlying data.
Storage & access
Documents are stored in private buckets. Row-level security restricts access to your household. Sensitive values are not written to logs.
Your rights
You can export your household and member data, delete uploaded documents, delete a member, revoke consent, or delete your account at any time from Settings.
